Installation Note 37389: An "Out of Memory" error occurs while users are on the system and the system becomes unresponsive in SAS® Merchandise Planning 6.1.3
An "Out of Memory" error occurs while users are on the system and the system becomes unresponsive with SAS® Merchandise Planning 6.1.3.
LDR_CNTRL and MEMSIZE parameters need to be added to the WebLogic startup script of a SAS® Merchandise Planning deployment.
These parameters are used to tune the number of threads (correlates to the number of users) that are allocated in stack memory. Stack memory is used for transactions.
The following changes need to be made to the setMMAXEnv.sh file:
- LDR_CNTRL=MAXDATA=0xD0000000@DSA
- export LDR_CNTRL MEM_ARGS="-ms1024m -mx2048m"
The parameters are required to manage memory properly.
