When you invoke SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2, the following error message might appear:

This error occurs because the Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 3.0 for Microsoft .NET is not being installed.
To correct this issue, complete the following steps:
- Close SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2.
- From the Microsoft Download Center, download the following component onto the client machine: Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 3.0 for Microsoft .NET.
- Install WSE 3.0 onto the SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2 client machine.
Note: During the installation, under Select Type, choose Runtime.
- Start SAS Enterprise Guide 4.2.
The problem should be resolved.
