Problem Note 37227: Incorrect results when using a UNIX named pipe
If you use a UNIX named pipe to read an external file,
the first 4 bytes of the file will be missing.
For example, if the file contains the string abcdefghi, the first 4 bytes
(abcd) will be lost, and the value that is read will be efghi.
