A data selection can be used in multiple projects. When you modify a data selection in the Projects workspace and then run an analysis, the modifications are made in all projects in which the data selection is used. The modifications should be made only to the instance of the data selection that is used in the current project. This behavior occurs when product build options are used in the data selection.
