Usage Note 37046: New functionality is now available to control whether editing a risk during assessment creates a change instead of a copy

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS® OpRisk Monitor, if you edit a risk during assessment, a new copy of the risk is created. Risk copies are created in a "pending" state at the area of the assessment. While pending, the risks do not appear in the Risk Profile tab or in the Select Risks dialog from other assessments. When the assessment is fully validated, all pending risks are published to the risk profile.

A hot fix is now available that enables you to use the following configdata.properties option to control whether a copy of the risk is created. This option is used only for form-based assessments.

monitor.rcsa.changingRiskCreatesCopy.enabled

Set this option to 'true' if you want edits to create a risk copy.

Set this option to 'false' if you want edits to change the original risk.

However, if monitor.multipleInstancesAtSameLocation.allowed=false in configdata.properties, edits will change the original risks, and no copies will be created (regardless of how monitor.rcsa.changingRiskCreatesCopy.enabled is set).

Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to download the new function.
