Problem Note 37996: com.sas.services.information.metadata.OMRDocument_Stub cannot be cast to com.sas.solutions.services.information.metadata.DocumentInterface

In the SAS® Performance Management Solutions (SAS Financial Management, SAS Human Capital Management, SAS Strategy Management) 5.1 release, if you try to open a Microsoft Office document from the Document Manager on a 64-bit operating system installation by clicking your left mouse button on the document, you might receive the error:
com.sas.services.information.metadata.OMRDocument_Stub cannot be cast to com.sas.solutions.services.information.metadata.DocumentInterfaceTo circumvent this issue, please do the following:
- Ensure that all of the SAS Managed Servers are stopped and that the SAS Remote/Foundation Services system service is stopped.
- Launch SAS Management Console and connect to the metadata server (machinename:8561) using the unrestricted user account.
- Expand Foundation Services Manager > Remote Services > Core. Click your right mouse button on Information Service and select Properties.
- Select the Service Configuration tab and choose the Configuration button.
- Select the Factories tab.
- Select the existing factory type of "document" and select the Edit button.
- Select the Add button.
- In the resulting dialog, enter the following class name:
com.sas.solutions.services.information.metadata.OMRDocument
- Leave the filter name as blank and select OK to exit the Add dialog. Select OK to exit the Edit dialog, select OK to save the Factory definition and select OK to save the Service Configuration.
- Start the SAS Remote/Foundation Services system service and start all of the SAS Managed Servers.
