Problem Note 37994: SAS® Enterprise Guide® 4.2 cannot use the Assign Project Library task for DBMS libraries that use a local server connection
With a local COM connection in SAS Enterprise Guide, the Assign Project Library task cannot be used to create DBMS libraries. A database server cannot be selected or entered manually.
A workaround for this issue is to enter the LIBNAME in a Code node or at Tools ► Options ► SAS Programs ► Submit SAS Code When Server is Connected.
