Problem Note 37961: Tree node results give Unable to complete isBeforeFirst() operation, Data access error occurred error
When you view Decision Tree node results in SAS® Enterprise Miner™, you might receive the following error if the input data set contains values of DBCS characters:
Unable to complete isBeforeFirst() operation.
Data access error occurred
The error occurs because SAS Enterprise Miner is unable to translate the text label above a tree node in the diagram for languages that use double byte character sizes for the label values.
If you click OK in the first error window and OK in the second error window, the Results window will still appear. However, the Tree Results graph will be missing.
You can view the Decision Tree graph in interactive mode by selecting the Decision tree node and clicking on the Interactive ellipses under the Value column of the Train Property table. However, the characters will be incorrect for the text label above the tree node.
