Usage Note 37864: Adding text between the output in an ODS HTML file
The ODS TEXT= statement is used to insert text into an output file. When using this statement with SAS® 9.1.3, you must give the output destination (such as HTML, PDF, RTF, and so on), for example, ODS HTML TEXT='text-string'. When using this statement with SAS 9.2, however, you do not have to specify the output destination, for example, ODS TEXT='text-string'.
The following example uses ODS TEXT= statements to add text between output in an ODS HTML file.
options center nodate nonumber;
/** Text is centered with the <div> tag in HTML. **/
/** You can also change text strings with the style template or with ODS ESCAPECHAR. **/
ods html file='c:\temp\addinfo.html' style=sasweb;
proc print data=sashelp.class(obs=5);
title 'PROC PRINT Information';
footnote 'Footnote Appears Immediately After Output';
var name age height weight;
run;
ods html text='<div align="center">This is text after PROC PRINT output.</div>';
proc freq data=sashelp.shoes;
title 'PROC FREQ Information';
footnote 'Footnote Appears Immediately After Output';
tables region;
run;
ods html text='<div align="center">This is text after PROC FREQ output.</div>';
ods html close;
This is the HTML output:
Additional information about using the ODS=TEXT statement is included in the SAS® 9.2 Output Delivery System: User's Guide.
