SAS Web Report Studio enables you to open PDF files from within the application. To make the PDF files available, you use SAS Management Console to upload the files to a location that is visible to SAS Web Repot Studio. The following steps explain how to upload the files and open them in SAS Web Report Studio.

1. Log into SAS Management Console as an administrator or other user who has the appropriate permissions.
2. On the Folders tab, right-click on the Shared Data folder (or a designated subfolder) and select Add Content From External File(s) or Directories.
3. In the Specify Source File(s) or Directories dialog box, select All Files from the Files of type drop-down list.
4. Navigate to the location of the PDF that want to upload, and then click Open.



5. (Optional) Enter a File Description and click OK.



6. In SAS Web Report Studio, select File ► Open and use the Open dialog box to navigate to the location of the PDF file that you just uploaded.

The PDF opens in a separate window.
