Problem Note 37660: Problems occur with SAS® Enterprise Guide® 4.1 when installing SAS Universal Viewer 9.21 with associated SAS OLE DB Providers
If the SAS Universal Viewer 9.21 is installed on a system with SAS Enterprise Guide 4.1 and the SAS OLE DB Provider is selected as part of the SAS Universal Viewer installation, the following errors occur with SAS Enterprise Guide:
- This error occurs when you run a project under SAS Enterprise Guide:
ERROR: Unable to get SAS code. The task could not be loaded
due to an unknown error.
- This error occurs when you run code from the SAS Enterprise Guide window:
System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException
Unspecified error
To prevent this error condition, de-select the SAS OLE DB Provider when installing the SAS Universal Viewer.
To fix this error condition, submit the following command as one line within the DOS command window:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\SAS\Shared Files\SAS OLE DB Data Providers\sasaorio0901.dll"
