Problem Note 37618: You cannot open password-protected data sets in SAS Universal Viewer
In SAS Universal Viewer, you cannot open password-protected data sets.
When you select either a password-protected data set or you load a different data set within the same location, SAS Universal Viewer does not load the password-protected data sets. SAS Universal Viewer does load data sets that are not password protected.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future release of SAS Universal Viewer.
To work around this issue, you can use the SAS System Viewer to open password-protected data sets. To download SAS System Viewer, see SAS System Viewer (Release 9.1) System Dependencies.
