Problem Note 37585: The SAS® Marketing Automation Launcher does not write logs when invoked manually
The SAS Marketing Automation Launcher (malauncher) is used by the system scheduler to launch scheduled campaigns and diagrams. You can configure the Launcher to write logs by adding the -Dma.launcher.log argument to the command line arguments defined in the malauncher.ini file in
x:\ProgramFiles\SAS\SASMarketingAutomation\Launcher\4.1.
If the malauncher program is invoked by the scheduler software, then the log is written as expected. However, if the malauncher program is launched manually from the command line, then no logging information is written.
There is no workaround for this problem other than to use the scheduling software to launch the jobs.
