Installation Note 37457: The SAS® Bridge for ESRI installation might prompt you to "Insert Disk" when you are installing from a SAS Software Depot
When you install the SAS Bridge for ESRI in SAS® 9.2 in the Microsoft Windows operating environment, you might receive a prompt that asks you to Insert Disk #. This prompt might happen even if you are installing an electronic software order from the SAS Software Depot that is created for you.
The problem occurs because localized files are missing. The issue can happen with a Windows 32-bit or a Windows x64 order.
If you receive the prompt to Insert Disk #, then perform one of the following:
- Exit the SAS installation and restart it. Deselect SAS Bridge for ESRI.
- Contact your SAS Representative and see whether SAS 9.2 media is available from which you can install the software. If not, your representative can call and request this media from a SAS Account Representative. You can refer your representative to this SAS note, if necessary.
