Installation Note 37401: Errors occur when you reconfigure the SAS® 9.2 Web Infrastructure Platform
If you unconfigure and then try to reconfigure the SAS 9.2 Web Infrastructure
Platform via the SAS® Deployment Manager, the following error occurs:
Error in Stage 6 - Start Spawners (SAS Shared Services).
[stCreateDatabase] EXCEPTION: I/O error for file
"C:\SAS\EBIserver\Lev1\SASTS\Content\SharedServices.fdb" - Error while
trying to create file - The file exists.
If you select Server Manager ► Object Spawner in SAS® Management Console, you will not see your server listed. Unconfiguring and reconfiguring the Web Infrastructure Platform caused the server to be moved to the Available list in the SAS Management Console Properties dialog box. To move your server back to the Selected list, follow these steps:
- Right-click Object Spawner component and select Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, click the Options. You should see your
server name in the Available list.
- Select your server name and move it to the Selected list.
- Click OK.
After you move the server to the Selected list, if you click Retry in the SAS Deployment Manager, this step should be successful.
In addition to the error listed previously, you might also receive the following error during the content-loading stage for the Web Infrastructure Platform:
BUILD FAILED
C:\SASHOME\SASWebInfrastructurePlatform\9.2\Config\webinfpltfm_config.xml:2428:
The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:\SASHOME\SASDeploymentManager\9.2\products\cfgwizard_92320_prt_xx_sp0_1\Utilities\midtierAntTasks.xml:421:
Load Content failed for: SAS Web Infrastructure Platform
To resolve this error, restart the JBOSS application server and wait for it to fully initialize. (Initialization can take 15-20 minutes.) Then click Retry in the SAS Deployment Manager.
