Installation Note 37378: SASĀ® 9.2 installation jobs SIx1USSD and SIx1USSN might fail at some sites when the default parameter UNIT=VIO is used
At some sites, the default parameter UNIT=VIO in the SIx1USSD and SIx1USSN jobs might cause these jobs to abend with a JCL error. The third character (x) in the job name will be A, B, or C, depending on the type of installation you are performing.
To circumvent this problem, manually edit these members in the CNTL data set as follows:
- Modify the UNIT= value to an appropriate temporary unit for your site.
- Resubmit each job, beginning with SIx1USSN.
- Run job SIx1USSD after the first job completes.
