Problem Note 37313: In SASĀ® Merchandise Financial Planning, EOP/BOP is not rolling for partially-initialized time members
In SAS Merchandise Financial Planning, End of Period / Beginning of Period (EOP/BOP) is not rolling for partially-initialized time members.
This problem occurs when a worksheet has the following conditions:
- There is one merchandise member.
- There is one location.
- The time goes from month to week with the month being partially initialized (not all weeks are loaded).
- The actuals are set to aggregate upon initialization.
When you open the worksheet, EOP does not carry over to BOP.
This problem occurs because after calculating EOP, the EOP/BOP roll-processing method is not called.
This issue is planned to be addressed in a future software release.
