Problem Note 37203: A TRIM function error occurs when you try to analyze a combined data selection with three or more simple data selections
If you attempt to analyze a combined data selection that uses three or more simple data selections, the analysis fails with the following error:
ERROR: The function TRIM referenced by the %SYSFUNC or %QSYSFUNC macro function has too many arguments.
NOTE: Line generated by the macro variable "L_PRIMCSCDATATYPE".
The problem is caused by improper use of quotation marks in a
SAS® Warranty Analysis macro variable.
The only workaround is to reduce the number of simple data selections that are
selected in the Selection Name column in the Edit Combined Data Selection dialog box.
