Problem Note 37103: The SAS Universal Viewer does not display special missing values for missing data in SAS data sets
The SAS Universal Viewer does not display special missing values for missing data in SAS data sets. If the data set is converted to a SAS V5 transport file and is read into the SAS Universal Viewer, the special missing values for missing data will display.
To convert a data set to a file in the SAS V5 transport file format, use the following code:
options validvarname=v6;
libname tran xport "path\tranfilename.xpt"; /*<----Notice the xport engine, transport file name.*/
libname source "path\SAS-Data-library"; /* The ibrary where data is stored. */
proc copy in=source out=tran memtype=data;
select dsname;
run;
