Problem Note 36999: SAS® Information Maps built with DBMS tables cannot change the data source during the Import process

If SAS® Information Maps are built with DBMS tables, such as Oracle or Informix, the data source cannot be changed during the Import process.
If during the Import process, a SAS Information Map is assigned to a different source table, the Import process will appear to end successfully. However, when you open the SAS Information Map in SAS® Information Map Studio, and you view the properties for the physical table, you will find the original data source.
Renaming the table in SAS® Information Map Studio does not solve this issue. The RENAME function on physical tables in SAS Information Map Studio will rename the alias only and will not effect the source table at all.
As a workaround, you can modify the SAS Information Maps XML code and manually change the source table name.
