A problem was introduced into SAS® Customer Intelligence with SAS® Marketing Automation 5.1 Hot Fix 51MA05, which manifests when campaigns are rerun or recurring.
After the first execution of the campaign, subsequent executions do not refresh the data that is being processed and do not export or create contact history using the latest contacts. Subsequent executions use the contacts from the original execution.
If campaign counts are cleared between executions, then the correct current contacts are processed. If individual communications are executed rather than campaigns, then the correct current contacts are processed.
Hot Fix 51MA09 corrected this problem with one caveat. If any nodes are placed in the campaign diagram flow after the communication, then the problem will still exist.
To work around this issue, you can either schedule or execute the campaign at the communication level, clear the node counts before executing or scheduling the whole campaign, or remove any nodes from the campaign diagram flow after the communication.
