Problem Note 36692: An out-of-memory error occurs when attempting to open a model

In SAS® Model Manager, you might receive the following error when attempting to open a model:
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.rmi.ServerError: Error occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError com.sas.analytics.modelmanager.client.DataManager.retrieveLibAndTableInfo (Unknown Source) com.sas.analytics.modelmanager.client.DataManager.refresh (Unknown Source) com.sas.analytics.modelmanager.client.DataManager.getDataSource(Unknown source) com.sas.analytics.modelmanager.client.DataManager.getAssignedInputDataSources (Unknown Source) com.sas.analytics.modelmanager.client.DataManager.getIDSChoiceList(Unknown Source)
This out-of-memory error is returned when you select a model because the application attempts to refresh all of the information for each library and the associated tables. If the Data Library Manager within SAS® Management Console has many libraries, then it is likely that SAS Model Manager will return an out-of-memory error.
