When you use the XLS engine and the RANGE= option in the IMPORT procedure to import a range of data in SAS® 9.2 Phase I, the incorrect Excel sheet might be read. This problem is a result of problems in the XLS engine.
To circumvent the problem, use the SHEET= option instead of the RANGE= option.
