Problem Note 36522: Support for longer user-defined formats with the PUT() function in SASĀ® Scalable Performance Data Server
Prior to SAS Scalable Performance Data Server 4.4 TSM8, the PUT() function supported only user-defined formats of 8 characters or fewer.
SAS Scalable Performance Data Server now accepts user-defined formats of up to 32 characters. This, however, does not address the issue of cross-platform support for user-defined formats. The SAS Scalable Performance Data Server client and server must reside on the same platform when accessing user formats.
