Usage Note 36459: Remote WebLogic Managed Servers are not removed via SAS Deployment Manager
If you have the WebLogic Managed Server on a different machine than the WebLogic Administration Server, deconfiguring WebLogic via the SAS® Deployment Manager
fails to remove the WebLogic Managed Server in the WebLogic Administration Console. This failure occurs because the SAS mail session (SASMailSession targets the managed servers on the middle tier, which prevents proper removal of the managed server.
To resolve this issue, you must manually remove the WebLogic Managed
Server for SASMailSession via the WebLogic Administration Console. as follows:
- In the Domain Structure pane, select Services ► Mail Sessions.
- Select the check box next to SASMailSession and then click Delete.
You also need to delete the WebLogic Managed Server from the WebLogic Administration
Console, as follows.
- In the Domain Structure panel, select Environment ► Servers.
- Select the check box next to the WebLogic Managed Server that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
