Problem Note 36390: Incorrect Price Points rule violation message might be reported in SASĀ® Regular Price Optimization
The text 'Price Points Rule' might incorrectly display in SAS® Regular Price Optimization. The issue occurs due to a rounding error.
The problem occurs if you follow this sequence of steps in the Plan Members section of the Regular Price Plan view:
- Manually set price changes using a Price Points pricing rule.
- Select 'Check Price Rules'.
- A non-zero value will display in the Plan Members section under the column named 'Rule Violation Type Count'.
- Click the non-zero value. The Price Rule Violation Detail view appears.
The Price Rule Violations section contains a column named 'Rule Violation Type'. 'Price Points Rule' displays in this column. The text 'Price Points Rule' is incorrect.
