Problem Note 36366: SAS® Customer Intelligence Response and Contact History performance improvements

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The following changes to SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio 5.1 are available via a hot fix and can improve performance:

  1. Response and Contact History JMS Messages are no longer persistent.

JMS messages in a queue on the CICommonCHTricklingInsertQueue or the CICommonRHTricklingInsertQueue no longer have reliable persistence; they are now transient. You can use the WebSphere Administration console to change the message persistence attribute to non-persistent.

  2. Duplicate requests to the SAS® Metadata Server on Response and Contact History updates have been eliminated.
  3. Response History Updates no longer show warnings in the macore.log when null messages are received.

Previously, you might see a message like this: null message received inside the RH Trickling insert task

After applying the hot fix 51MA05 you will benefit from these performance improvements.
