Problem Note 36311: Performance issues might be encountered during the store synchronization process in SASĀ® Size Profiling
Performance issues might be encountered during the store synchronization process in SAS Size Profiling.
The RUN_GEO_SYNC task of %SZPF_RUN_JOB synchronizes new stores with the generated and published profiles. As the number of rows in the str_grp_mbr (for generated profiles) and profile_cluster tables (for published profiles) increase as well as the number of size sets in the system, performance of the RUN_GEO_SYNC task degrades dramatically, and at some point it might hang the process.
