If you are using attribute based models in SAS® Merchandise Intelligence Solutions (SAS® Markdown Optimization, SAS® Regular Price Optimization, and SAS® Promotion Optimization) and you set the value of the attribute specification ID (ATTR_SPEC_ID) for a model specification to -1, the model specification might be ignored. When the specification is ignored, computation of the hedonic price might be incorrect.
Only model specifications with the ATTR_SPEC_ID in the attr_spec table that match the corresponding entries in the data_config table are being used during the calibration process. However, model specifcations with ATTR_SPEC_ID set to -1 should be used as well.
