Problem Note 36176: A Read-access violation occurs when you submit an explicit SQL pass-through query to Teradata

A Read-access violation similar to the following might occur when you submit an SQL query using explicit pass-through:
ERROR:  Read Access Violation In Task [ SQL )
Exception occurred at (048D38DA) Task Traceback

The problem occurs when the number of columns read into the SQL procedure are fewer than the number of columns that are retrieved from Teradata. To avoid this problem, be sure to select the same number of columns in PROC SQL that you select in your query from Teradata.
