Problem Note 36141: An error is issued when you try to generate SQL syntax that contains the INTERSECT operator
In SAS® 9.1.3 Marketing Automation Campaign Studio, the following error can occur when you run a query against a Neoview database that you access either with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC or SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Neoview:
ERROR: CLI prepare error: [HP][HP ODBC Driver][HP Neoview Database] SQL
ERROR:00*** ERROR[3022] The INTERSECT operator is not yet supported. [2008-09-09
10:49:51] : [HP][HP ODBC Driver][HP Neoview Database]
SQL ERROR:00*** ERROR[8822] The statement was not prepared. [2008-09-09
10:49:51]
The error occurs when you use the AND node and you select the Type value is a member of all in the AND Properties dialog box.
The functionality should generate SQL syntax that contains the INTERSECT operator. However, the error is returned because the INTERSECT operator is not supported for use with the Neoview database.
When this error occurs, the SAS® System performs the join query on the SAS server rather than in the database. Performing the join on the SAS server takes much more time to return the results.
Currently, there is no solution or workaround for this problem.
