Problem Note 36018: A rejected workflow item does not go back to the originator

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS ® OpRisk Monitor, when you reject a workflow item in a multi-stage workflow, the item might be returned to a previous validator, instead of to the originator.

Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

After you apply the hot fix, you can specify a new option in the file configdatas.properties to control this behavior.

monitor.validation.return.returnToOriginator=[true|false]

If you specify TRUE, the rejected item will be returned to the originator. If you specify FALSE, the rejected item will be returned to the previous person configured in the workflow.
