Problem Note 36017: ERROR: "The assessment period is required" occurs when the Assessment Period is set as mandatory in validation.xml for a KRI observation

In the SAS® OpRisk Monitor validation.xml file, you can update the assessment field to be mandatory on form kriObservationFormEx, or on both observationRequestFormEx and kriObservationFormEx forms.
However, if you update only form observationRequestFormEx, you might get the following error message when you try to save the KRI request:
The assessment period is required
If you update both observationRequestFormEx and kriObservationFormEx forms, the KRI owner cannot use the assessment period drop-down list because it can only be read.
