Usage Note 36782: The Grid Manager plug-in in SAS® Management Console fails to authenicate logins to the Grid Monitoring Server with LDAP authentication
In SAS Management Console, the grid monitoring server fails to authenticate when Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication is configured. The failure generates the following error message:
"javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: Your user name or
password is invalid. Try again, or contact your system administrator"
To enable LDAP authentication, select the Downloads tab in this note to download the Platform LSF Grid Management Service patch for this issue.
Be sure to read the installation instructions that are included with the patch for
additional configuration changes that are necessary to support LDAP.
