Problem Note 36681: Invalid header-file errors occur when use the IMPORT procedure with the JMP engine to read JMP® 8 files
When you use the JMP engine in PROC IMPORT to read JMP 8 files, the
following error can occur:
Invalid Header Code for JMP file -> /export/home/dbitest//customers
code=ffff0000
Requested Input File Is Invalid
ERROR: Import unsuccessful. See SAS Log for details.
NOTE: The SAS System stopped processing this step because of errors.
The error occurs when you submit an IMPORT procedure similar to the following:
proc import out=work.Customers_jmp
datafile="customers.jmp" dbms=jmp replace;
run;
