Usage Note 36628: Updated formats are not immediately available for use with the SAS® OLAP Server
The SAS OLAP Server does not immediately register updates to an existing format that is applied to either a drill-through table or to an external aggregation.
This behavior is due to the way formats are stored and loaded in the SAS OLAP Server.
To ensure that the SAS OLAP Server recognizes updates to your existing formats, restart the SAS OLAP Server process after you make changes to the format catalog.
