If you modify the date settings under your computer's Regional and Language Options to a value that is not listed as a choice, the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office might not correctly display the default date specified for a stored process prompt.

For example, if you select Control Panel ► Regional and Language Options ► Regional Options ► Customize ► Date, and modify the Short date and Long date formats as shown below, the default date in your stored process prompt might be ignored.

This modification uses a blank space as a separator:

  Short Date format: dd MMM yyyy
  Date Separator: 
  Long date sample: dddd, dd MMMM, yyyy

When you run the stored process, you will see today's date as the default date rather than the value that was specified in the stored process. The circumvention is to use one of the available formats for the short date and long date in the customized regional date options.
