Usage Note 36453: How to import and assess outside modeling techniques using SAS® Enterprise Miner(tm)
In SAS Enterprise Miner, you can import, run, and assess the results of modeling techniques that are not offered within the Model tab. Here are some examples of techniques:
- in–house application
- SAS data step code
- SAS/STAT procedure
As a result, you can compare models developed outside of SAS Enterprise Miner to those developed inside SAS Enterprise Miner.
The following short video shows you how.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
This video shows an example of how to import a non-supplied model into SAS Enterprise Miner and be able to assess it with other models.
