Installation Note 36144: A syncNode.jy error occurs when the SAS® Deployment Wizard automatically configures SAS® Enterprise BI Server Web applications for IBM WebSphere
The following configuration error might occur when the SAS Deployment Wizard automatically configures SAS Enterprise BI Server Web applications for deployment to the IBM WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment application:
**ERROR** syncNode.jy between dmgr and nodeagent failed during deployOnWAS.
The appearance of this error in the corresponding configuration log means that a Java Management Extensions client request has timed out. The value of the property com.ibm.SOAP.requestTimeout is increased to 900 seconds (15 minutes) while the SAS Deployment Wizard is running. However, depending on the capacity and use of your system, the request still might time out. The corresponding SAS Deployment Wizard property, webappsrv.websphere.dmgr.soap.request.timeout, cannot be configured.
For the SAS Deployment Wizard to complete successfully, you must specify RMI Protocol as the protocol for Deployment Manager - Node Agent when you are prompted for the WebSphere deployment-manager ports in the SAS Deployment Manager. This action requires that you re-run the SAS Deployment Wizard.
