Problem Note 36139: The SAS® Download Manager stops working after 24 hours
The SAS Download Manager might stop working after 24 hours. It is rare that a download will take this long. However, depending on the connection speed and the size of the download, it could take this long.
It is not common that the download will take longer than 24 hours.
The issue could occur when cookies that provide authentication have expired.
The symptoms will be that the download stops, and the resulting sdw.log file might contain "got status" error messages, such as any or all of the following:
got status 402
got status 403
got status 404

If the download stops after 24 hours, you should be able to start it again and select the Resume option to continue the download.
To correct the problem, download and install the latest ®SAS Download Manager.

In some cases, the SAS Download Manager is working as expected with no issues, but might stop working after 24 hours if it is taking that long to download.
