Installation Note 36061: The SAS® Deployment Wizard in SAS® 9.2 cannot be used to transfer the SAS depot from Windows to the z/OS environment
Beginning in SAS 9.2 phase 2, the SAS Deployment Wizard cannot use FTP to transfer your SAS depot from Windows to z/OS. The SAS Deployment Wizard uses FTP only for the purposes of submitting batch jobs and monitoring the job output.
You must either create the depot directly in Unix System Services (USS) file space using the native z/OS download manager, or create the depot in a directory on the Windows or UNIX operating system that can be NFS-mounted to z/OS.
