Problem Note 35718: A "Memory Bad Pointer - Smart Heap Library" error occurs in SASĀ® Allocation Management when initializing a Weblogic server
A Memory Bad Pointer - Smart Heap Library error can occur in SAS Allocation Management during a Weblogic server start up. This error occurs only on the new AIX box with a P6
processor. This error could be due to Smart Heap libraries not being initialized properly. The Smart Heap function called MemPatchProcess must be executed before any SQL statement can execute from the application. If this function is not executed first, then the application is not guaranteed to initialize successfully.
