In some cases, the cursorPosition returned by a Text Entry Control might not be correct. This problem might occur within an override of the _onKey method. Symptoms of this behavior include out-of-order typing in the control.
As a workaround, you can move out of the control by tabbing or by using a mouse click, and then returning to the control. This action should reset the cursorPosition to the correct value.
