Usage Note 35425: StuffIt Deluxe might cause file-association problems with SAS® program files
StuffIt Deluxe by Smith Micro Software
might cause file-association problems with SAS program files.
If you have StuffIt Deluxe installed on your computer, double-clicking
a *.sas file might cause the program to be submitted in batch mode, instead of
opening the file in the SAS program editor window.
You might also notice that there is no longer a right-click option to submit
a SAS job in batch mode.
To work around this problem, uninstall StuffIt Deluxe, and then associate the
*.sas files with the version of SAS that you want.
For example, if you have SAS® 9.2 installed, select
SAS 9.2 for Windows.
For information about re-registering file types back to
SAS, review SAS Note 16399 "How to register file types for SAS® 8 and SAS 9."
