Problem Note 35311: SAS® Space Planning Release 5.11 Hot Fix 2: March 2009
SAS Space Planning 5.11 Hot Fix 2 resolves problems that were identified subsequent to the release of SAS Space Planning 5.11 Hot Fix 1 in January 2009. This hot fix resolves the following documented problems:
- Graphics do not render in SAS Space Planning - the object selection is not consistent.
Users reported an inability to select certain objects in a Layout window via a mouse click. An upgrade of the graphics card driver fixed the problem in most instances.
- The product and subfixture object images on a planogram are fuzzy.
Digital images on a planogram were not rendering clearly.
- Selecting products to display on a planogram requires an initial click before dragging the products.
The object click method was changed in the 5.11 release such that the mouse-button release, rather than a mouse-down release, signals selection. Users must click once to select an object and click again to drag the object.
- The setinit fails due to space limitations in the Customer Name field.
Users were unable to deploy the setinit provided with the 5.11 release.
- Pallet products are not sequenced correctly by the SAS® Space Optimizer.
Where a fixture configuration in the SAS Space Optimizer includes multiple pallet shelves, and the assortment has multiple pallet products, the generated composite planogram does not have pallet products in the correct sequence per the Best Practice Template.
