The SAS Migration Utility might use the wrong SAS Metadata Server configuration directory during the creation of a migration package. This can occur when backup directories are stored in the same configuration directory structure.
The SAS Migration Utility searches for a file named omaconfig.xml or a subdirectory named rposmgr to locate the SAS Metadata Server configuration subdirectory that the utility will use when it creates the migration package. Typically, the omaconfig.xml is located in the \Lev1\SASMain subdirectory. Typically, the rposmgr subdirectory is located in \Lev1\SASMain\MetadataServer. Any other rposmgr subdirectories under SASMain or any other omaconfig.xml files under SASMain might cause the migration package to be created incorrectly.
To circumvent the problem, rename the backup omaconfig.xml file or the rposmgr directory and re–run the SAS Migration Utility so that the correct subdirectory is identified.
