Usage Note 35960: Hot-fix naming conventions for SAS® 9.2 TS2M0 and later
Beginning with SAS 9.2 TS2M0, a new naming convention is being used to identify hot fixes.
The first three characters of a hot fix ID are a "prefix" value used to identify the specific product and product release number for which the hot fix update is intended. The next 3 characters represent the incremental value of hot fixes specific to the hot fix ID "prefix". The last two characters represent the operating system.
Example (1): Hot Fix A01003wn
A01 is the "prefix" that represents Base SAS 9.21
003 represents the third hot fix for Base SAS 9.21
wn represents that this download is for Windows
Example (2): Hot Fix A06001r6
A06 is the "prefix" that represents SAS Web Report Studio 4.2
001 represents the first hot fix for SAS Web Report Studio 4.2
r6 represents that this download is for AIX
