Problem Note 35940: The PREVWIND RESULTS REVIER and PREVWIND EXPLORER commands might fail when they are used with SAS® 9.2
When the keys PREVWIND RESULTS REVIER and
PREVWIND EXPLORER are used in SAS 9.2,
you might receive an error in the Log window and the Results window disappears.
You will see this happen when the SAS Keys are set. The following error is displayed:

The following scenario re-creates this problem:
- Type keys on the command line and press RETURN.
This start ups the Keys window. Go to ALT/F11 and type
prevwind results revier, then go to ALT/F12 and type
prevwind explorer. It will look like this:

- In the Results Viewer window click Tools ► Options ► Preferences,
click the Results tab, click the
Create HTML checkbox, and then click OK.
In SAS 9.2 there were some changes made for the Results Viewer and remote browsing that added the full path
to the results file and to the title of the Results Viewer window. The buffer for the window title is only 64 characters,
and the end of the buffer was being overwritten.
Use the following workaround for this problem:
- Click Tools ► Options ► Preferences ► Results.
- Clear Use WORK folder.
- In the Folder text box, enter a short path to a folder that exists
(for example: C:\temp).
A fix is planned for a future software release.
