In SAS^® Web Report Studio, you might see the following error when attempting to select a folder or report from the Location drop-down list in the Open dialog box or the Manage window.

The system was unable to complete your request.

When you click Error Details, you see this message:

Error messages: 
An error occurred retrieving folder information from the repository.

This error occurs if the name of a folder or report includes a period within parentheses. For example, the message would appear if you selected a folder with the following name:

Sales Reports (ver 1.25)
