Problem Note 35818: After applying hot fix 41WARNTY02 to SASĀ® Warranty Analysis, a Pareto analysis log shows that the error Format $. is unknown
After applying hot fix 41WARNTY02, a Pareto analysis log shows that the error Format $. is unknown. PROC SQL is used to make labels and formats blank. The labels and formats are then replaced with localized versions. The blanking of labels with PROC SQL fails (Defect S0530122), which leaves blanked formats in place. The blank formats are invalid and cause errors later.
A workaround is to ensure that all columns that might be in a summarized data set have a format that is defined in either parmsl.anlformatlabel or parmsl.variables.
